Every year in August, Puratos welcomes a selection of chocolatier students from around the world for the Belcolade Student Rewards. During this one-week training programme at Belcolade in Erembodegem (Belgium), the students receive extensive training by our very best in-house chocolatiers.
In addition, they will visit some of the leading chocolatiers in Belgium, and of course, taste chocolate!
The Belcolade Student Rewards are organized by Belcolade in collaboration with the local Puratos subsidiaries, who organize local competitions open to students working with chocolate. The local winners then receive an all-in one-week trip to Belgium. The goal is to inspire these budding chocolatiers, as well as to offer them an all-round chocolate experience in Belgium, the country that has become synonymous with chocolate and which is home to some of the very best chocolatiers in the world. In addition, it is a great opportunity for the students to exchange their creativity, the local food culture, and their personal way of working with chocolate.
