Clifton, NJ – The Butterfly Bakery has announced new labeling on its Sugar Free and No Sugar Added muffins to better reflect nutritional values. The corrective action was taken in response to an FDA citing which required the clarifications.
Butterfly Bakery took immediate action when the issue was brought to the attention of founder and CEO Brenda Isaac. The bakery began re-testing the muffins in question and correcting the specific labels. The bakery even went a step further by implementing a double testing policy to insure correct nutritional information.
