A six-pound apple pie is just one of 13 pie varieties that customers can purchase at Tootie Pie Co. at the Shops at Starwood. The company's Frisco store is its fifth, joining three in San Antonio and one in Fredericksburg. After just four days, the store sold 360 pies.
"I didn't expect this kind of response to pies," said Ray Evans, operating manager of store No. 5. "[It's as though] the pies grew wings and flew out the door."
