Tradition Fine Foods Announces New President

TORONTO, ONTARIO – Tradition Fine Foods Ltd, a leader in the baked goods manufacturing industry, today announced that it has named Thomas Glowczewski as its new President. Thomas will succeed his father, Peter Glowczewski, who was recently appointed Chairman of Tradition Fine Foods Ltd.

In 2001, Thomas completed his Hons. Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Toronto, downtown campus, with a Specialist in Human Biology. Shortly thereafter, Thomas pursued his M.B.A. at the Schulich School of Business at York University, specializing in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies.

Since completing his studies in 2004, Thomas has been with Tradition in a full-time capacity overseeing all aspects of Operations, IT, Contract Manufacturing and R&D.

Thomas’ broad knowledge of the business stems in part from his summer positions as a line supervisor at Tradition while he was still in high school. Over the years, Thomas also took on many efficiency, documentation and IT tasks on a part-time basis while pursuing his H.B.Sc. and M.B.A. By continuously staying in touch with Tradition’s evolution and growth, Thomas has a complete ‘from the ground up’ appreciation of what it takes to run efficient lines while ensuring employee loyalty and customer satisfaction.

Peter Glowczewski, now Chairman of Tradition, is extremely pleased with the appointment and feels it is vital to have someone with Thomas’ experience, knowledge and dedication at the helm, as the Company continues to provide high quality, world-class bakery products to Canada, the US and other global markets.
