Voortman Bakery Launches Innovative Sugar Free Breakfast Biscuit Portfolio

BURLINGTON, Ontario — Voortman Bakery, a heritage cookie company committed to taste and quality, has announced the launch of a brand-new portfolio of Sugar Free Breakfast Biscuits. The new cookie line is available in three innovative, delicious and on-trend flavors, Oatmeal Blueberry, Apple Cinnamon and Chocolate Banana, and provides a high source of fiber and whole grains. This brand-new line is hitting shelves in mass market retailers nationwide.

According to a study by Mintel, a global and award-winning market research provider, consumers are not only eating breakfast more frequently than previous decades, but nearly half admit to eating breakfast on-the-go. Responding to this study and other feedback, Voortman’s team of bakers aimed to create a contemporary solution and developed this convenient new portfolio. The new line of high-quality breakfast biscuits is made with wholesome ingredients, individually wrapped, and is the perfect nutritious alternative breakfast on-the-go.

Expanding on their 2017 announcement, Voortman has continued to dedicate itself to baking the very best quality cookies, putting real ingredients front-and-center, using only the finest, hand-selected ingredients such as real whole grain oats, almonds, coconut, blueberries, strawberries and other varieties of real fruits. As a result of this innovation, distribution and merchandising, Voortman now has the highest percent growth rate over the past two years propelling itself into the largest share player in the Sugar Free segment.
