Just Bare Chicken Adds American Humane Certified Farm Program Endorsement

In October 2011, Just BARE Chicken passed the rigorous American Humane Certified® (AHC) standards for the raising and handling of farm animals, joining the list of American Humane Association(TM) (AHA) certified producers. Beginning this month, the American Humane Certified seal will start appearing on labels of the Just BARE line of fresh, all natural chicken. The line consists of hand-trimmed boneless, skinless chicken breast fillets; breast tenders; boneless, skinless chicken thighs; drumsticks; and whole chicken.

Beef Prices Expected To Climb For Next 2 Years

The smallest cattle herd since the 1950s likely will mean higher beef prices at the supermarket for the next two years. Experts said beef prices could climb as much as 10 percent a year in 2012 and 2013, and the increase could be even greater if demand from other countries increases.
