Borden Milk Announces Strategic Partnership With U.S. Tennis Association

DALLAS — Borden Dairy Company, one of the most trusted milk brands in the dairy industry, today announced a strategic partnership with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to encourage young people across the country to get active, try tennis and lead healthy lifestyles as part of USTA's youth tennis initiative.

"Borden Dairy is pleased to partner with the USTA to help promote healthy habits and active lifestyles in children of all ages," said Steve McCormick, CEO of Borden Dairy Company. "Together we hope to instill the important role high-quality nutritious milk and tennis can have in raising happy, healthy kids."

As part of the one-year agreement, Borden will promote youth tennis through in-store retail promotions and on in-school milk packaging. Additionally, Borden has signage at the 2011 US Open, which began on August 29, 2011.

"The USTA is committed to getting more kids involved in our sport and our new 10 And Under Tennis initiative is making great strides in this area," said Sue Hunt, Managing Director of Marketing, USTA. "Through this partnership with such a high-quality, well-known milk brand, we expect to extend this initiative even further, and get even more kids active and playing our sport."

For more than 150 years, Borden has been a consistent favorite of American consumers because of its taste, quality standards, and innovation.
