Frigo Cheese Heads Brand Enhances 14 Wishes To Visit Icarly Set, Meet Miranda Cosgrove

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. — Make-A-Wish Foundation® supporter Saputo Inc. and its Frigo® Cheese Heads® brand enhanced the wishes of 14 children whose biggest dream came true on August 16th when they visited the iCarly set at Nickelodeon Studios and met the show's star, Miranda Cosgrove. The experience was a wish-come-true for Shayla, 9; Hannah, 7; Julian, 15; Crystal, 11; Andrew, 13; Martin, 11; Samuel, 10; Brandon, 8; Oscar, 14; Gabriel, 11; Ally, 8; Hannah, 9; Princess, 7; and Autumn, 9.

The wish day began for these kids and their families in Hollywood, CA, where they met up with representatives from Saputo Inc. and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Frigo® Cheese Heads® brand costume character met each wish kid and provided them with a goodie bag to start off their day. The wish kids and their families mingled and took pictures with the costume character as the excitement for their wish grew. En route to Nickelodeon Studios, the bus drivers treated the families to a tour of celebrated Southern California landmarks, including Rodeo Drive, the Kodak Theatre, the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Hollywood sign.

At Nickelodeon Studios, the kids received VIP passes and toured the facilities, including the iCarly set. The kids explored all the show's primary shooting locations: Carly's bedroom, the loft, the elevator, the kitchen, the living room and the school. They also checked out two new swing sets that will be used in an upcoming episode. The kids especially enjoyed bouncing off the trampoline onto Carly's bed and discovering the random doors and hallways that lead to nowhere.

After checking out the set, the families traveled to a nearby elementary school where iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove was doing a network promo shoot. After a general Q&A session with all the wish kids and their families, Miranda met each wish kid individually – posing for pictures and signing autographs. Many of the kids were star-struck and at a loss for words. But Miranda's outgoing personality and excitement at being a celebrity wish granter made each wish kid feel like a close friend.
