Klondike Cheese Expanding On A Popular Dairy Product

MONROE, Wisconsin – Greek yogurt has been the fasted growing dairy product among American consumers, and one Wisconsin plant is offering up their version of it. In this segment of Wisconsin Dairy News, see how Klondike Cheese is raising the bar to meet consumer demand.

Klondike cheese is well known in the dairy industry for making award-winning Feta Cheese. Recently they've expanded their facility and are now producing Greek-style yogurt!

Ron Buholzer, Owner of Klondike Cheese says, "We pondered a long time over it. The toughest part is to make the decision, once you've made the decision; then away you go!"

A 40,000-square-foot addition to the plant houses the yogurt line. Using their Odyssey® brand, they are launching a line of fruit on the bottom Greek-style yogurts for retail as well as plain and vanilla for food service.
