Chaney’s Family Farm Milk was removed Friday from the shelves of local Kroger stores, Priceless IGA and Chaney’s Dairy Barn.
The local farm announced plans Tuesday on its Facebook page to discontinue the milk beginning Friday. Carl Chaney, owner of Chaney’s Dairy Barn, said it was a difficult decision, but one he and his family thought would ultimately be best for the business and the community.
“We’re very disappointed, but we’re also excited,” Chaney said Friday. “We’ve been blessed to work with some great people.”
