Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association Offers Promotions & Activities At The 2013 PA Farm Show

PHILADELPHIA – Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association and Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Program will be offering several promotions and activities at the 2013 Pennsylvania Farm Show, which kicked off on Saturday, Jan. 5, and runs through Saturday, Jan. 12. The Pennsylvania Farm Show is the largest indoor agricultural exposition in the country, with nearly 6,000 animals, 10,000 competitive exhibits and 300 commercial exhibits.

Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association and Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Program are proud sponsors of the Culinary Connection, which features daily cooking demonstrations and healthy eating tips. Mid-Atlantic Dairy staff registered dietitians and Pennsylvania dairy farmers will be on hand at the Culinary Connection cooking stage and at the association’s exhibit booth (booth #5071) daily to answer questions about dairy nutrition and dairy farming, respectively.

Additionally, while visiting Mid-Atlantic’s booth, Farm Show visitors can get their photo taken and then take home a “milk mustache on a stick” to create their own milk mustache photos at home. Also on tap is the “Is Your ‘Stache Worth the Cash?” daily and weekly contest and daily opportunities for visitors to win a free milkshake and commemorative milkshake cup, in conjunction with the Pa. Dairymen’s Association.

Farm Show visitors are encouraged to visit the social media sites – Mid-Atlantic Dairy Facebook Page, Mid-Atlantic Dairy Twitter Page and Pa. Dairymen’s Association Facebook Page  –  to get the daily secret word and time for the chance to win a free milkshake and cup.
