CARLINVILLE, Ill. – Prairie Farms has teamed up with PEEPS® to bring you Prairie Farms PEEPS® Milk for the third year in a row. The 2017 flavor lineup includes Orange Crème, Strawberry Crème, Chocolate Marshmallow, and Egg Nog. PEEPS® Milk is available for a limited time in select markets throughout the United States.
The official PEEPS® Milk celebration kicked off Saturday with a Spring Scavenger Hunt and taste testing at the Saint Louis Science Center GROW exhibit. Over a thousand visitors lined up throughout the day to sample America’s favorite milk, and nearly 400 children collected prizes from Prairie Farms for completing the scavenger hunt. Within the GROW exhibit corral, hundreds interacted with Evie and Phoebe, the dairy calf/cow pair from Ravendale Farm, a local Prairie Farms dairy farm owned by the Meng family. Cookie, the Prairie Farms mascot, was also a crowd favorite for selfie photo opportunities.
Today, Prairie Farms released two throwback video segments reenacting PEEPS® Milk debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in March 2015. In the parodies, five kids proudly portray Jimmy Kiddel, Guiller-moo – Jimmy’s sidekick, and the Idol Judges – Harry “Comic” Jr., Mini Jenny and Keith Sub-urban, who sampled PEEPS® Milk during the 2015 Kimmel segment.
Highlights from the Jimmy Kiddel segments include Jimmy’s assurance that “No PEEPS® were harmed in making of these milks.” Harry describes his visit to a PEEPS® outlet store, Guiller-moo gets milk in his beautiful mustache, Mini Jenny changes her mind and gives PEEPS® Milk a try, and finally, they all agree that "PEEPS® Milk is going to Hollywood.
"After PEEPS® Milk debuted on the Kimmel show in 2015, we’ve gained quite a following. We thought it would be fun to take a PEEP back and we’re thrilled to bring PEEPS® Milk fans our spoof on the now-infamous Kimmel segment where American Idol judges sampled PEEPS® Milk,” said Rebecca Leinenbach, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Prairie Farms. “From the one-of-a-kind pop up Kiddel Hollywood backdrop to the kid-crafted desk, the tone was perfectly set for lots of fun. Our Kiddel kids did a great job reimagining the original segment.”
Great recipes, a coupon for PEEPS® Milk, demonstration videos, including delicious milkshakes, muffins, cookies, and cakes can be found on the Prairie Farms website, as well as a chance to enter the PEEPS® Milk is Back for Spring Sweepstakes. Now through April 16, ten submissions will be randomly selected each week to receive an Easter basket prize package. The prize package includes coupons for Prairie Farms butter, Chocolate & P.B. Milk or Salted Caramel Milk pints, Chef’s Splendor Dip, cottage cheese, and ice cream novelties. Consumers are invited to enter daily for a chance to win a $100 gift card and support an Our Caps Your Cause registered organization. The Our Caps, Your Cause organization with the most votes will receive $100 each!
