Stonyfield Oikos Organic Yogurt Becomes 'Stonyfield Greek'

LONDONDERRY, NH  – Stonyfield, the world's leading organic yogurt maker, has changed the name of its Greek yogurt from Organic Oikos Greek to Stonyfield Greek. The change will help fans of pure, certified organic yogurt from the Stonyfield brand know they are getting the quality they seek in a Greek yogurt. With this name change, Stonyfield Greek packaging is getting a fresh update with a brilliant bright blue finish and a more prominent Stonyfield logo.

"Stonyfield put the first nationally distributed organic Greek on store shelves. Now, with dozens of Greek offerings in the dairy aisle, we want to help Stonyfield fans more easily find the organic Greek yogurt from the brand they know and love," said Kristen Deshaies, Stonyfield Vice President of Marketing. "Stonyfield Greek is still the same great-tasting yogurt, celebrated for its rich texture, purity, nutrition, and because it doesn't cut corners when it comes to organic quality."

Whatever you call it, it's what's inside the cup that really counts. Stonyfield Greek yogurt is made with only pure, certified organic milk that's produced without the use of toxic, persistent pesticides, chemical fertilizers, antibiotics, synthetic growth hormones or genetically engineered ingredients (GMOs). As with all Stonyfield products, it's also free of anything artificial.

Stonyfield Greek yogurt will be in stores nationwide beginning in March in all the same tasty flavor options. Dannon Oikos remains unchanged in its branding and offerings.
