Tillamook Wins Seven Awards At ACS

At the 2013 American Cheese Society Conference this past weekend, Tillamook earned seven awards across multiple dairy categories including cheese, sour cream, butter and yogurt.

The Oregon farmer-owned cooperative received first place recognition for their Marionberry Light Yogurt, their Vintage White Extra Sharp 3 Year Reserve Cheddar, and their Premium Sour Cream. “We are proud of these recent awards as it is a reflection that our brand consistently makes great-tasting, award-winning dairy products” said Jay Allison, Tillamook VP of sales and marketing.

Tillamook Light Yogurt is naturally sweetened with Truvia® sweetener and contains real Marionberries from the Pacific Northwest creating a uniquely sweet and tart flavor, while Tillamook Vintage White Extra Sharp Cheddar is aged naturally over 3 years to perfect its refined bold taste. Tillamook Premium Sour Cream is so smooth and creamy, it has become a staple in many recipes and in many homes throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Tillamook also placed in the following categories:

o   Tillamook Colby Cheese was awarded 2nd place in the American Originals Colby category

o   Tillamook Salted Sweet Cream Butter was awarded 2nd place in the Salted Butter with or without cultures made from cow’s milk category

o   Tillamook Natural Sour Cream was awarded 2nd place in the Cultured Products made from cow’s milk category

o   Tillamook Medium Cheddar Cheese was awarded 3rd place in the Aged up to 12 months cheddar made from cow’s milk category
