Alouette, Chavrie Fresh Goat Cheese & Ile De France Launch Chef Challenge

NEW HOLLAND, Pa. — Alouette® Cheese, Chavrie® Fresh Goat Cheese and Ile de France® Cheese today announced the launch of the Master Holiday Chef Challenge — a national chef recipe competition at www.masterholidaychef.com featuring 14 leading chefs from across the U.S. Well-known chefs from major cities around the country will be competing to create the best locally inspired holiday meals using varieties of Alouette, Chavrie and Ile de France cheeses.

From October 15 through December 12, consumers can vote for their favorite chef and holiday meal by visiting www.masterholidaychef.com.  Each vote will also enter consumers into a random drawing for exciting daily and weekly prizes, and a grand prize trip to the winning chef's restaurant.

"Preparing holiday meals can be a daunting task," said Mary-Kate Van Fossen, Marketing Brand Manager for Alouette Cheese. "With the help of these talented chefs, we have created simple and delicious recipes for the holiday table. We've reinvented classic holiday meals by introducing everyone's favorite – cheese – to the menu. Each chef was carefully selected based on their awards and accolades, and influence on their local community. Participating chefs include Adrianne Calvo (Miami); Matt Selby (Denver); Brian McCracken and Dana Tough (Seattle); Kevin LaCivita (Richmond, Va.); Jason Barwikowski (Portland, Ore.); Jared VanCamp (Chicago); Chai Chaowasaree (Honolulu); Tim Spinner (Philadelphia); Rob Wilson (Laguna Beach, Calif.); Jordan Wakefield (Atlanta); Robert Sisca (Boston); Ryan Jaronik (New York); Monica Pope (Houston); and Jonathan Merritt (San Francisco). The winning chef will receive the ultimate title of Master Holiday Chef and a grand prize of $20,000.
