Holland's Family Cheese To Release Test Batch Of Its Second American Original

THORP, Wis. – Just in time for the holidays, Holland's Family Cheese introduces its second raw-milk, American Original this year; this one will be the first soft cheese in Marieke's collection. Like its semi-soft sister, Marieke Golden, it will utilize vegetable rennet, making it suitable for vegetarians everywhere.

The very first test batch will be available on November 26, 2012. Holland's Family Cheese will release 35 wheels into the marketplace. Each 18-pound wheel is carefully cured and flipped for 60 days on imported Dutch pine planks, a time-honored cheesemaking tradition of the Netherlands. The staff at Holland's Family Cheese is currently in the process of naming this cheese.

Contact us if you'd like to reserve wheels to add to your holiday offerings.
