“Place of origin matters! Where you are from defines who you are as a person – and it defines Parmigiano Reggiano as a cheese,” said Nancy Radke Director of the U.S. Information Office of the Consorzio del Formaggio Parmigiano-Reggiano. “Parmigiano Reggiano is only crafted in Parma Province in north central Italy, along with Reggio Emilia, Modena and portions of Mantua and Bologna. We’ve launched the Show Your Origin YouTube Video sweepstakes as a way to raise awareness of Parmesan’s local cheese making heritage.”
Food lovers are invited to enter for a chance to win a $250 Visa® gift card and a gourmet food gift basket featuring a wedge of Parmigiano Reggiano® cheese (combined value $500). Here is how to enter:
1. Create a short video (up to 2 minutes in length) that answers the following:
a. Where are you from?
b. What do you love about Parmigiano Reggiano cheese?
c. What do you love about Parmesan.com?
2. Upload the video on YouTube as a Video Response to the Show Your Origin YouTube video by October 23rd
Instructions for posting your video entry to YouTube:
1. Log into your YouTube account
2. Click the comment box below the Show Your Origin YouTube video
3. Next, click the link that says “Create a Video Response”
4. Upload your video
