Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Co. Welcomes Scott Frank, New Director Of Sales

Point Reyes, CA – Award winning, Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company, California’s only producer of classic-style blue cheese, Original Blue™, announces the hire of Scott Frank as Director of Sales

Scott has a strong and successful history in Sales and Business Development within the Specialty Food Industry.  He built and managed various product lines while establishing valuable relationships as both a distributor and a retailer.  Recently Scott was the Director of Sales at Creminelli Fine Meats, where he helped launch and grow the Utah-based, line of nationally acclaimed, cured salumi.   Scott is very excited about the move, knowing that he will be able to draw on his depth of experience in Specialty and his love of hand-crafted, small-batch farmstead cheese.  “For years I’ve loved the cheese from Point Reyes and am thrilled to now be a part of the team.  I have always admired how the Giacomini family gets the whole picture, committed to building their brand based on quality products backed with integrity and best-of-class customer service,” said Scott upon his arrival in Point Reyes.

Company owner, Bob Giacomini, is equally thrilled with the new hire. “Scott is a great guy.  He knows how to sell and he knows people.  He has earned incredible respect and credibility in the industry.  My daughters and I are confident that together with Scott, we’ll grow our sales to a whole new level“.

Giacomini, together with his wife and four daughters, founded Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company on their family dairy in 2000.  Ultra-creamy, full flavored Original Blue is the flagship product of the company; Toma, a buttery-flavored table cheese, was released to critical acclaim in 2010 and most recently Bay Blue was introduced to rave reviews.  The Point Reyes Farmstead product line is available nationally at independent cheese shops and specialty chains as well as at www.pointreyescheese.com.
