The USPB recently launched the “Summer of Sides Potato Salad Sweepstakes” on the USPB’s Potatoes, Taters and Spuds Facebook page.
There is perhaps nothing more quintessentially “summer” than classic potato salad. As we head into the USPB’s fourth and final Facebook promotion of FY12, we are leveraging the season to take Linda back to her summertime roots with a sweepstakes that plays up a favorite side dish and touches on her emotional tie to the summer months. Timed to launch just before Memorial Day, the largest cookout weekend of the year, this promotion will focus on healthy potato salads and outdoor entertaining and invite “Linda” to share her cherished summer mealtime traditions.
The “Summer of Sides Potato Salad Sweepstakes” will run for four weeks from May 25 to June 22. The USPB will be refreshing the Facebook entry tab with a new question every Friday, enabling Linda to engage multiple times for the chance to win a new prize each week. This week, our question was “Where is your favorite place to spend a warm summer evening?” Our first winner will receive a potato prize pack including potato cooking accessories.
