Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company Announces New Line Of Flavored Cheeses

S. WOODSTOCK, VT – Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company is pleased to introduce a new line of cheeses, the flavored WindsorDales.

he WindsorDale is a raw milk cheese made using a late 1800 farmhouse Wensleydale recipe and is a delicious hard cheese with a hint of tart apple, a honeyed aftertaste and firm, flaky texture.

WindsorDale is the perfect base to highlight the new flavorful additions, including:

• Cranberry WindsorDale, with whole cranberries that burst with tart flavor.
• Blueberry WindsorDale, including whole blueberries that add a mellow sweetness.
• Chocolate Stout WindsorDale featuring a hearty brew that finishes with an earthy chocolate note.
• Cracked Pepper WindsorDale, that has a bold exuberant zing of fresh black pepper.
• Hot Pepper WindsorDale, with extra kicks from both jalapeño and chili peppers.

“Since the idea and interest for a new line of flavored cheeses came from our customers, developing and testing these products has been an especially enjoyable journey for us. It has always been a part of our mission to satisfy and exceed our customers’ expectations,” said Valerie Traynor, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company.  “When we founded this company, we set out to create an entirely new generation of unique Vermont farmstead and artisanal cheeses, and our flavored WindsorDales really reflect that,” she added.
