Buddleja Unique 'Best New Introduction 2017'

IJsselstein – Buddleja alternifolia Unique (‘Pmoore12’PBR) has been chosen by the members of the KVBC (Royal Dutch Horticultural Society) as the “Best New Introduction 2017”. After the gold medal at GrootGroenPlus this is an extra statement that this is a great introduction!

Buddleja Unique stands out for its compact habit as it becomes max. 120 cm tall and 70 cm wide. Ideal for in a pot on the terrace or balcony. Unique is also very suitable for shrub borders, landscaping and butterfly gardens. The plant is hardy to -25 ºC and flowers on one-year-old wood. When Unique is pruned after flowering, it stays compact and will give an abundance of new flowers the next year.

This winner is found by Peter Moore from Great Britain and introduced in 2017 by Boomkwekerij Out, Hazerswoude. Plantipp manages Unique and is very proud of this achievement.
