The American Cancer Society is kicking off its Daffodil Days Campaign in St. Charles County. Residents have until Feb. 24 to place a request for a daffodil bouquet. The suggested $10 donation benefits the American Cancer Society. Other products are also available, including an exclusive Boyds Bear and a Daffodil Days vase.
The American Cancer Society is also looking for volunteers to assist in taking requests for, packing and delivering daffodils during February and March at work, in neighborhoods and in schools.
"Seeing the joy on people's faces when we deliver daffodils gives me such a sense of pride. I know we're giving hope to others," said Kate Guess, American Cancer Society staff for the program.
