Often Deliflor is asked to introduce new varieties. New varieties with different colors, different shapes, a total different look…. Such a new and different chrysanthemum is now available at the Dutch auctions FloraHolland Naaldwijk and Aalsmeer. This new product is called Sombrella and it is so unique, because of its shape and color. It can not be compared to anything else.
The shape can be put side by side to an umbrella, which is exceptional. The light green color of the petals and the dark green center of the flower make Sombrella stand out even more. Especially the center of the flower will surprise everyone. Florists love Sombrella because it fits perfectly into the ‘ecological’ mindset which is trendy at the moment.
Besides the noticeable flower, Sombrella will also stand out because of her packaging. Sombrella will be supplied into a full color sleeve and in water buckets. The water buckets are decorated with a full color Sombrella cardboard ‘collar’ which is placed in the buckets. This packaging will protect the flowers from damaging and it looks very nice. Then, Sombrella will be supplied with five stems in one sleeve. In this way, florists have the opportunity to buy smaller amounts.
