Spray Chrysanthemum ‘Raisa’s’ greatest asset is its powerful personality.
Raisa is the first name of the famous Russian langlauf (cross country skiing)
star Raisa Petrovna Smetanina and of the equally famous Raisa Maksimovna
Gorbatsjova, late wife of former soviet leader Michail Gorbatsjov. These ladies
recently inspired a Dutch breeder to name a new and special spray Chrysanthemum
after them.
One of the most striking features of spray Chrysanthemum Raisa is its
voluminous spray of flowers with at least 15 to 20 semi-double florets and its
powerful colour combination of solid red with yellow petals and a green centre,
which guarantees plenty of attention.
