Fleuroselect is proud to present 8 entries in the FleuroStar Contest 2013/2014, each competing for the award as the winner with the 'wow' effect, the variety with the highest visual impact at retail.
The FleuroStar Contest will be held during the FlowerTrials® at 8 locations in the Netherlands and Germany: Dümmen, Fides, Fleuroselect stand at Combinations, Florensis, Jonge Planten Grünewald, PanAmerican & Kieft Seed, Sakata, Syngenta FloriPro Services.
These new-season introductions will be judged by no less than 30 expert judges from the ornamental cultivation, production and retail sector as well as trade journalists and marketing professionals. Uniqueness and point of sale potential are the main judging criteria.

This year’s laureate will follow in the tradition of the previous FleuroStar winners Dianthus x barbatus Diabunda® Purple Picotee, Petunia x hybrida Phantom, Fragaria x ananassa Duch. Toscana and Verbena x hybrida Lanai® Twister Red. The winner will be announced at the Gala Dinner during the Fleuroselect Annual Convention that will take place from 3-5 July in Odense, Denmark.
