Flooding In South America Causes Mum Flower Shortage

Columbia, SC — Over the last month, flooding has been a major issue in South America.

Homes have been destroyed, and lives effected, as well as one business in particular: flowers.

About 90 percent of the cut flowers in our country come from South America and too much water means our flowers are being destroyed.

"I've been in this business since birth and I've never seen it like this," manager of Branham Wholesale Flowers Carman Branham says.
