The FloraHolland 2020 dossier has been updated. It contains the most recent information about the four ongoing programmes: Improving Together, Consumer, The New Auctioning and World Flower Exchange.
The New Auctioning is elaborating scenarios. World Flower Exchange is exploring markets in North America and Southeast Asia. The Consumer programme is finding solutions for the decreasing European consumption of flowers and plants, among other matters. Improving Together is selecting experts and training them to help improve the organisation.
By mid-September The New Auctioning programme should be clearer, because the scenarios and possibly another way of working will have been elaborated by then. "Then we start talking about it again, internally as well. Is this the direction we want to take, do we recognise ourselves in it?" according to the programme director, Ronald Teerds.
