English and German versions of FloraHolland e-Trade’s online flower catalog and web shop were launched this week. FloraHolland e-Trade is the online trading platform for parties both buying and selling flowers. The Flowers Catalog provides the supply information and the webshop realizes the sales.
All information on www.florahollandetrade.com is translated, including the web shop’s user manuals and ordering system. The website operating language can be selected by clicking on national flags.
FloraHolland has been developing trading platforms such as FloraHolland e-Trade in order to make digital business in the sector a simpler matter. As well as FloraHolland e-Trade — which handles flower trade — the auction also runs PlantConnect.nl for plant trade. Both of these platforms are now available in Dutch, English and German.
The English and German language versions enable FloraHolland e-Trade to extend the reach of its web shop and flower catalog. From now on, suppliers will be able to populate the flower catalog and offer their products for sale at the web shop in their preferred language. Also thanks to this improvement, florists outside of the Netherlands and local wholesalers will also be able to use the flower catalog to place orders with their own supplier or exporter.
This international enrichment will expand the supply available, making the assortment at the web shop and in the flower catalog more comprehensive and attractive.
