Philadelphia, PA — It is freezing outside and the Philadelphia area has seen more than its fair share of snow this winter, but the lobbies of area businesses are beginning to burst into bloom in the midst of the ice. Corporate Floral Arrangement design firm Hoffman Design Group and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society are inviting area businesses to decorate their lobby to promote the annual Philadelphia International Flower Show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in March. “The Philadelphia International Flower Show brings both area residents and visitors from around the world into the heart of our great city.” says PHS President Drew Becher. “We hope to showcase all that Philadelphia has to offer and solidify the City of Brotherly Love’s position as a vibrant place to live and a premier destination for travelers from all walks of life.”

Office buildings in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs are encouraged to apply and compete in the Phlower Power Lobby Decorating Contest. Security desks, front desks, building entrances and elevator lobbies can be decorated and submitted for judging. Each display must include some promotion of the Philadelphia International Flower Show and tie in the theme of Paris in Springtime. A crowd of celebrity judges will tour the buildings on March 1 or 2, and the displays will be judged in several different categories. All participants will be promoted on the Flower Show website and at the flower show. Winners will receive a plaque or commemorative certificate from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.
