International Floral Distributors (IFD) Launches FlowerTrendsForecast.com

Richmond, IN – Keeping track of what new flowers are in vogue is now easier.  The new web site,  flowertrendsforecast.com, provide trend information on what types of flowers, what colors of flowers, what design styles of flowers are increasing in popularity.  The new site, developed by International Floral Distributors (IFD),  helps both, industry shareholders and consumers, stay up to date on changing flower fashion.  Finding what is new for brides for their wedding flowers or creating the perfect floral setting for a corporate event just got easier.

FlowerTrendsForecast.com is ready to share how flower fashions are evolving.  In just a few weeks the Flower Trends Forecast 2013 will be released.    This trend forecast has been prepared by Bill Schaffer, AIFD, PFCI and Kristine Kratt, AIFD, PFCI of Schaffer Designs, Philadelphia. PA and details emerging flower types, colors, themes and stylings for all types of events from weddings to corporate.  The forecast video and print files will be available on flowertrendsforecast.com on January 1, 2013.

What to be expect for emerging trends with event flowers for 2013:

•    Roses, especially garden roses mixed with old time favorites like carnations.
•    Unique and bright flowers like gerberas and roses are mixed with equally bright exotic flowers like pin cushion protea and cymbidium orchids.
•    Lush succulents mixed with other modern botanicals will be a favorite.
•    Expect lots of brides to select flowers in muted tones of mixed pink and peach.
•    Peacock feathers will accent brightly colored flowers featuring violet, teal, emerald, plum and sapphire.

In addition to sharing the latest Flower Trends Forecast, the new web site will share video and articles on trending new flowers, emerging design styles, new bridal flowers and changing bridal bouquet styles. The “Trends’ page and the ‘New Flowers’ page will be updated regularly and provide information on the evolving world of flower fashion.
The new site serves as a new gateway to the IFD Flower Gallery, home to 3,000 images of cut flowers.  The online search tool provides an efficient means to see the thousands of cut flowers available in today’s worldwide flower market.
