The coveted title ‘International Grower of the Year’ 2012 has been won by Sheridan Nurseries, from Canada.
The company from Georgetown, in the Canadian province of Ontario, was bestowed the ‘Golden Rose’ during the award ceremony which took place at the premises of the Floriade 2012 World Horticultural Expo, in Venlo – The Netherlands.
Sheridan Nurseries is a fully chain-integrated producer, involved in breeding, propagating and growing as well as direct sales through its network of garden centers. The jury specifically praised the company’s emphasis on new varieties and its excellent quality, sustainability, management and work standards.
