New Celosia Variety; Javalin

Celosia seems like an exotic flower (because it can be found in the tropical regions of Africa and Asia), but it is not so difficult to keep in the garden or as an indoor plant. In the garden the flowering will last until late autumn, indoor (as a houseplant) the plant will last up to two months easily. This new variety has very good colour retention, is low maintenance for consumers and will thrive in hot, sunny conditions.

Javalin with its long spear-shaped purple flowers has beautiful dark glossy leaves and is very easy to produce in a ten to twelve week cycle. For plant production in spring and summer we advise to finish in forced short day conditions (with black-out), for fall it can be produced in natural short day conditions.
