Petalfox Expands to the East Coast

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Petalfox, a text-commerce flower delivery company, announced today the expansion of their delivery service to the East Coast. Petalfox will now be available for delivery on the East Coast in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington DC. With the addition, Petalfox now delivers to 16-states with plans to continue their expansion this year.

Petalfox is a subscription-based service without the commitment. Petalfox customers can completely control their subscription deliveries by simply replying to a text message with an emoji or keyword.

How It Works:

  1. Each week, Petalfox curates a new flower arrangement, based on seasonal varieties and trends in fashion and decor.
  2. Subscribers receive a weekly text photo of what type of arrangement to expect and then decide to get, gift or skip
  3. A subscriber’s first checkout is made through a secure online portal for 1-100 bouquet credits. All future purchases are made by replying GET or GIFT.
  4. Flowers ship once a week on Mondays. Subscribers place their orders by Sunday night and fresh flowers arrive early each week.

“At Petalfox, we are pioneering a new way to get the things you love, more often — starting with flowers” said Kelly Nyland, Petalfox Founder and CEO. “We’ve put an emphasis on the experience. Our subscribers decide if they want to get, gift or skip the delivery each week. It becomes more than just about flowers; it’s personalized, conversational commerce.”

While subscribers can purchase flowers one arrangement at a time, Petalfox offers discounted bouquet credits which include flat rate shipping to eight states on the West Coast. Bouquet credits can be purchased in bundles from 1-100 ranging in price from $28-$40 per bouquet depending on how many you buy.

Founded by Kelly Nyland and Rhenee Bartlett, Petalfox is a text-commerce flower delivery company rethinking subscription services. Read: there’s no commitment, no forgetting to cancel and no order management. Each season, Petalfox curates a new flower arrangement, based on trends in fashion and decor. Then, Petalfox sends a text with a moodboard and photo of what’s shipping for the following week. Subscribers decide to get, gift or skip. Entirely over text message.

Petalfox is based in El Segundo, California.

Petalfox currently delivers to Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Washington DC.
