BOGOTA, COLOMBIA and HOLLYWOOD, CA – Fresh-cut from the Bogota Savannah,
Colombian roses lined the way as some of Hollywood’s top celebrities came out
for the World Premiere of the movie “Valentine’s Day,” The star studded cast
included among others, Julia Roberts and Ashton Kutcher.
Benchmark Growers, one of Colombia’s leading producers of fresh high-quality
roses, provided nearly 15,000 fresh-cut roses for the Hollywood premiere and
Gala after party event. The film, which is anticipated to give a major boost to
the fresh flower industry prior to the highly important Valentine’s Day season,
has been of great value to us, stated branding expert Richard Griffiths.
Benchmark Growers proudly supported the premiere with a large quantity of Pink
Intuition, a specialty rose grown exclusively by Benchmark Growers in
Colombia, South America. The rose, a hallmark variety of the group, is

Vega stated, “We felt that a film honoring our most important holiday deserved

The film, directed by Garry Marshall, who is known for such hits as “Pretty
Woman,” put together a historic ensemble cast including Julia Roberts, Ashton
Kutcher, Shirley MacLaine, Jamie Foxx, Jessica Biel and Patrick Dempsey.
Benchmark Growers created a partnership with the film premiere to highlight the
beauty of the Pink Intuition for the film star studded premiere and after
