This year again proves that participation in Plantarium is very important for businesses in the tree nursery sector. The number of registrations for the trade fair has already exceeded 300. This means Plantarium 2013 is as good as sold out.
The 300 participants include 55 foreign businesses from 14 different countries. During the well-attended participants' meeting of 6 June, participants were updated about the natural seasonal garden, the new Plantarium Garden Theatre, the outdoor technology demonstrations, various publicity-related matters and, of course, the setup of the trade fair.
Natural seasonal garden
Niek Roozen will be creating a natural seasonal garden in the centre of the fair, showing examples that can be applied to any garden. Landscape architects will compose the differently sized borders (12) on the basis of products from participations. The borders will clearly indicate which plants have been used in the border and are a source of inspiration for visitors. Plantarium focuses on garden centres (and their staff), who can convert the concept into a presentation on the shop floor.
