Rococo New Guinea Impatiens – An Elegant Twist

Vista, California – Rococo New Guinea Impatiens is the latest and greatest new plant to dress up shady gardens everywhere.  This beauty is known for both its lively range of colors that are available from bright lipstick red to a soft pink.  A unique feature about Rococo is the way the flowers start out and then how they look when they are open.  As the blooms are emerging they look just like rose buds!  Then, when they are fully open they have a ruffled beauty like no other.

The best growing conditions for Rococo are full shade and a nice rich soil that is evenly moist.   Perfect for a landscape planting or patio pot, it also makes robust hanging basket. This easy to grow annual will reach a size of 16 inches tall and 24 inches wide. Rococo will provide months of radiant blooms from spring until first frost.

Dave Thorne of Floragem comments “Rococo is an elegant improvement to the flower form of the New Guinea Impatiens. It still has the large and bright blooms for which the New Guineas are known, but Rococo really takes it up a notch with the unique ruffled flower petals.”
