Rose Society Of South Australia's Rose Of The Month: 'FABULOUS!'

Bred by Dr. Keith Zary in California and released in 2001 by Jackson & Perkins, this pure white Floribunda rose has proved to be very successful in both the USA and Australia as it is well suited to hot climatic conditions.

This rose has masses of high pointed buds in large clusters, each bloom with 25 – 35 petals. It has a mild sweet fragrance and repeat flowers quickly after the spent blooms are removed. It features attractive dark green glossy foliage on a neat upright bush growing to 1.2 metres tall.

Interestingly, the parentage of this rose is Iceberg x Macrexy, and no doubt some of the best characteristics of Iceberg are seen in this delightful rose.
