The 2013 edition of the FlowerTrials® were as successful as in previous years.
The guests were international as never before, the presentations got more impressive and the overall mood was very positive. From June 11 to14 Selecta welcomed a total number of 1787 guests at our two locations of the FlowerTrials® in Kerken, Germany and in the FloraHolland Pyramide in the Westland Region in the Netherlands.
At both locations we attracted the visitors with marketing presentations for the topics “country life”, “alpine flair” and “family fun” with matching flower arrangements. Our impressive grasses assortment combined with beautiful pot carnations and big Sevilla® Mandevilla plants formed the impressive country style show while AlpeTunia® Petunias, Luis Gentianas and many other crops created the perfect Alpine flair. Of course Trixi® was the perfect choice for a family fun presentation.
Highlights of our assortment show were among others the new interspecific Pelargonium series Perillo and Marcada with their seven and three respectively impressive varieties, the double flowering Petunia SweetSunshine® Provence – Fleuroselect Gold Medal 2014 winner – and the Lavender line LaVela with its three varieties.
