Reporter Ashley Yore takes us to Sunny Meadows Flower Farm in Southeast Columbus. Many grocery stores and farmers markets get their fresh cut flowers for this farm – locally grown.
They have 6 acres full of flowers and harvest them 9-10 months.
Nearly 1000 sunflowers are harvested a day from July to October. They plant 7,000 to 8,000 flowers a week and have only 75 different cut flowers.
