West Grove, PA — Greg Soles has joined Star® Roses and Plants/Conard-Pyle, the introducers of the Knock Out® Family of Roses, as Perennial Product Manager. Consulting for the organization for the last three years, Soles has now officially joined the team.
“Greg is well-known and respected in the industry,” says Steve Hutton, president and CEO of Star® Roses and Plants/Conard-Pyle. “He will be sourcing perennial genetics domestically and from Europe, setting up test sites around the country, securing off-shore unrooted cutting production, and working with licensees and customers and prospects to position our genetics. Greg will help us continue to offer superior varieties of ornamental plants to the trade and to consumers.”
Before joining the Star Roses and Plants/The Conard-Pyle Co. team, Soles ran his own consulting business and previously worked in sales and new product development with the Aris/Green Leaf Company. He also held positions with successful growers on Long Island and New Jersey. Greg and his wife also owned and operated a retail-wholesale greenhouse.
