Cupid’s agents will be working the weekend this year, as Valentine’s Day falls
on a Sunday.
His busiest workers may be florists. About a third of consumers buy flowers as a
gift for Valentine’s Day, annual surveys by the National Retail Federation
consistently find, including typically about half of men.
But Sunday isn’t an ideal day to deliver flowers, says Wendy Cater of Country
