Cleveland, Ohio – 2013 marks a milestone year for the Priest and Macuga families as The Cleveland Plant & Flower Company celebrates its’ 100th year as one of the largest wholesale floral product distributors in the country.
Walter Priest started the company in a storefront in Cleveland, Ohio in 1913. Charles Macuga Sr. joined him and together they sold flowers to retail florists on a commission basis for local growers. Generations of Priest and Macuga family members as well as many dedicated employees have grown the company to 11 branch operations and a brokerage office in Pereira, Columbia.
