The cut flower and pot plant growers who have won the Interpolis Quality Cup 2012 will be announced on Tuesday afternoon 30 October. Both winners receive market launch support from exporters Hilverda De Boer and Javado. Registration for participating in the Interpolis Quality Cup remains open until 21 October.
Every year the judges of the VKC permanent judging committee assess thousands of cut flowers and pot plants in the Interpolis House of Quality at Horti Fair. These judging events are classified into 30 cut flower competitions and 14 pot plant competitions. The cut flower and pot plant that have won the Interpolis Quality Cup are subsequently chosen from among these prize-winners.
Just like the winner of the New2Market (for the best new product), the winners of the Interpolis Quality Cup earn marketing support from exporters Hilverda De Boer (cut flowers category) and Javado (pot plants category). The prize ceremony is taking place in the Interpolis House of Quality at 15.30 hours on Tuesday 30 October.
