A P.E.I. food company has landed a major contract to supply grocery stores in the Atlantic region.
Atlantic Beef Products in Albany will provide meat to most major grocery stores in the region, including Co-Op Atlantic, Loblaws and Sobeys.
It’s been a good few weeks for the company. It received a British Retail Consortium Global Standard for food safety certificate last month.
Paul de Jonge, president of the plant, said that certificate is only given to the best meat plants in the world.
