Certified Steak & Seafood Supports National Nutrition Month With A Healthy Recipe Program

Jacksonville, FL – The American Dietetic Association, the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition specialists, has declared March as “National Nutrition Month.” Beginning March 1st through the 31st, Certified Steak and Seafood (CSS) will support National Nutrition Month with their exclusive campaign, the “CSS Healthy Recipe Program,” where food and mom bloggers use CSS products to prepare healthy steak and seafood meals for their families and friends and share their thoughts with the public at large.

Food and mom bloggers participating in the “CSS Healthy Recipes Program” will be provided with CSS steak and seafood products. In support of National Nutrition Month, the bloggers will prepare and then showcase their favorite healthy meals on the CSS Facebook Recipe page. All recipes will include the following: recipe ingredients, time preparation and photos of their dishes.

“At CSS, food safety and nutrition are an integral part of providing wholesome foods, all from inspected and certified sources,” Stated Mark Frisch, partner at Certified Steak and Seafood Company. “Our mom and food blogger Healthy Recipe Program, in support of support National Nutrition Month, is one more way to further our company’s mission.”

For CSS, “certified” is more than just part of the name; it’s a requirement of the brand. When the company launched in December 2010, a rigid process was set into place to assure consumer confidence in their steak and seafood purchases. Every consumer’s product purchase is accompanied by a third-party certified analysis report, including nutrition information.
