Farmland Foods Extends Agreement With SignalDemand For Predictive Analytics

SAN FRANCISCO — SignalDemand, the leader in predictive analytics and optimization for commodities based value chains, today announced that Farmland Foods, a division of Smithfield Foods Incorporated, has renewed its subscription to SignalDemand's predictive analytics software service for an additional three years. As a part of this commitment, Smithfield Foods has also extended the use of the SignalDemand solution into an additional division.

Farmland Foods, a leading US pork processor, has been a SignalDemand customer since 2007. Using SignalDemand's software as a service solution, Farmland Foods has institutionalized their pricing process, ensuring that they are able to better determine their forward pricing strategy and the optimal product mix.
