It is almost time to start thinking about Christmas gift shopping. What better gift can you give this year than a beef gift certificate?
Dianne Buckingham, Texas CattleWomen beef gift certificate state chairman states that there are 29 banks across the state handling them.
Local CattleWomen groups throughout the state promote the certificates for Father's Day, Ag Day, Christmas and other gift-giving occasions. For a cattleman, giving a beef gift certificate makes more sense than giving a ham or a turkey.
Banks handle these certificates just as they do cashier's checks. They may be purchased in any amount and are good anywhere the United States. They can be used to purchase beef at a meat market, supermarket or at a restaurant.
