VA Target To Add Meats At Three Area Stores

Wonder what all the construction is inside the Target on Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake?

By spring, you’ll be able to buy apples, cheese and chicken along with cosmetics, prescriptions and pajamas.

Target, based in Minneapolis, recently launched a program called P-Fresh, expanding its supermarket sections in many stores to carry perishables such as produce and meats.

The Greenbrier store is undergoing a renovation to become one of the first in the region – along with Targets in Newport News and Williamsburg – with a P-Fresh.

The new grocery area in the Greenbrier Target is scheduled to open at the end of March, said Thom Moceri, the store’s manager.
