What is Vitacide Z-71 Anti-Microbial Treatment?
Vitacide Z-71 is an anti-microbial solution with a long residual life. When you apply Vitacide Z-71 to a surface, hard or soft (including fabrics), it forms a shield over the entire surface – invisible to the naked eye and imperceptible to the touch. This shield functions like a massive germ-attracting magnet, literally pulling microbes out of the air and off of the items that touch it – DESTROYING THEM on contact!
How Does Vitacide Z-71 Attack Germs, Viruses, Bacteria, Fungus and Other Pathogens?
Vitacide Z-71 inactivates and destroys pathogens through the process of lyses, wherein contact of the pathogens cellular wall with the Vitacide Z-71 film produces cellular wall disruption. The contacting cellular wall is broken or ruptured and the microbe is no longer able to control its internal hydrostatic pressure, resulting in implosion or explosion of the species, depending on ambient pressure.
Are You Saying That Vitacide Z-71 Actually “Blasts Apart” The Germ Cell?
Yes. Vitacide Z-71 causes the germ cell to either implode or explode through a mechanical process. It does NOT poison the germ cell like most other germ-killing products. No transfer of chemical or chemical residues occurs during this process. The Vitacide Z-71 film is not depleted and will continue to lyses cells.
Will Germs Become Resistant to Vitacide Z-71 Over Time?
No. The most recently raised concern regarding the prolonged and repeated use of antibacterials and antimicrobials is that the pathogens will develop immunity to these materials. With Vitacide Z-71, the mechanism that permits increased biocide resistance does not occur since the active ingredient in Vitacide Z-71 is not incorporated into cells. Vitacide Z-71 kills germs through a mechanical process rather than a chemical process, so there is no increased pathogen resistance on subsequent exposure to the product, and no increased mutagenicity.

Fabrics treated with Vitacide Z-71 can last for 40 washings or more. Hard surfaces treated with
Vitacide Z-71 can be effective for weeks to months depending on how heavily the surface is used. Because Vitacide Z-71 forms a tight bond with the surface, water can be used between Vitacide Z-71 treatments to remove dirt, blood, feces, feathers, etc. from your equipment. This will not remove the Vitacide Z-71 or diminish its service function or effectiveness in any way.
Why haven’t I heard of Vitacide Z-71 before?
The product has been used primarily in Europe, New Zealand and Australia. It is now available in the U.S. exclusively through WWI Green Inc. and its authorized distributors.
