Booth Ranches Announces Retirement Of Neil Galone

Orange Cove, CA – Booth Ranches, LLC, a fully integrated grower, packer and shipper of fresh California oranges, has announced that Neil Galone, its Vice President of Marketing, will be retiring at the end of February.

“It has been a pleasure to represent Booth these last six years,” Galone said.  “They are committed to growing and packing the best California has to offer.”  According to Dave Smith, General Manager of Booth, "Neil was instrumental in helping Booth develop its current sales effort in terms of both staff and customers.  His experience and attitude were critical in that effort", Smith said.

Galone, a 37-year industry veteran, previously worked for Diamond Fruit Growers, Snokist Growers, A. Duda and Sons, and Sunkist Growers.

“I have been fortunate to have worked for companies that are as excited about this industry as I am” Galone said, “and that has allowed me to also have time to give back to the industry.”

Galone is a past President of Florida Citrus Packers, and has also held board and committee positions over the years with Gulf Citrus Growers Association, Indian River Citrus League, Washington State Fruit Commission, Pear Bureau Northwest and UnitedFresh.

“I am honored to have represented growers dedicated to delivering healthy product to the consumers.  It has been a rewarding career and allowed me to make friends and acquaintances across North America and around the world.  I am looking forward to this next phase of my life, spending more time with family.”
